This was a permanent large two storey teaching facility in Leicester for Fullhurst Community College to help it expand it’s offering to students and also provide future proofing for their growing numbers.
Internally, 72 bays formed 18 classrooms, a plant room, five offices, three work rooms, a hygiene room, science prep room, three science rooms, an IT room, numerous stores and toilets.
To add extra economic and environmental advantage to this permanent modular build we installed nearly 300 PV panels on the roof, providing an estimated annual output of 65,000kWh -
Our calculations suggest that this would provide an EPC rating of A+, making this a carbon neutral building!
